Bicester Pubwatch
Bicester Pubwatch is part of Cherwell Pubwatch and has officially been in operation since 2007 and maintained a membership of over 20 licensed premises during this time.
The scheme in Bicester is managed by a Steering Group, chaired by Steve Provis of the Penny Black and has a successful reputation with members and the community.
Some late night premises also make use of the NITENET radio link system as operated by MRS Communications please see the menu for MRS Radio Link.

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT/STEERING GROUP
The Board of Management/Steering Group is made up of the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and several other nominated members of the scheme. Their role is to direct and steer the scheme to achieve the aim of reducing crime and disorder as a result of misuse of alcohol or drugs. Partners to the scheme are Thames Valley Police and Cherwell District Council who participate in an advisory capacity only.
EXCLUSIONS
Names are placed on the prohibited list, which is displayed in the bar area of all member premises. The Steering Group meets on a monthly basis and all members meet every 3 months and new prohibited lists are distributed after each meeting.
FEES
Membership fees for each Bicester premises are £50.00 per year - these funds are used to support the administration of the scheme and to pay for indemnity insurance and registration with the Information Commissioner's Office as per the Data Protection Act.
