First Drink Banning Order in England and Wales
A Banbury man received the first drink banning order in England and Wales in December 2009 after repeatedly breaching the Exclusion Notice placed on him by Banbury Pubwatch, a part of Cherwell Crime Partnership.

The Cherwell Crime Partnership membership is open to all within the Cherwell community. The operating guidelines and management are detailed within the Cherwell Crime Partnership Handbook. There is also a contract to cover the information provided to you and Data Protection Issues.
The Board of Management (BOM)/Steering Group (SG) meets every six-eight weeks to discuss current projects/plans, finance and future initiatives. Each town has their own BOM/SG, please contact the co-ordinators if you would like to consider sitting on the Board.

EXCLUSIONS - HOW THEY WORK
There is a normal invitation by businesses, for members of the public to enter their premises and either view or purchase merchandise on display. An Exclusion Notice is an official document which withdraws that invitation.
The person issued with the notice is excluded from enterall all business premises within the relevant town for a period of 12 months. The Notice is formally issued and is recognised by magistrates.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Current fees for CCP membership are as per the schedule below and are based on the total number of paid employees (including part-time workers).
0-5 Employees £50.00
06-25 Employees £130.00
26-50 Employees £200.00
50 + Employees £300.00
Invoices are produced each April. Companies joining during the invoice year will be charged pro-rata.
Once a part of the CCP, members are encouraged to consider:
STORENET/NITENET RADIO LINK which is a town centre based radio system, operated by stores, police, CCTV and licensees. The system is owned and maintained by M-R-S Communications and enables you to share and receive information on local and travelling offenders and help prevent anti-social behaviour.
RENTAL COSTS - STORENET RADIOLINK is £7.00 per week, per unit. Minimum hire is 52 weeks. For more information please see the M-R-S Radio Link tab on the menu bar.
